after a couple of clock spring exchanges, they determined it’s probably the harness that goes to the clock spring. So Goldwing sent me one… but it was the wrong one. Next shipment was the right one. Installed, and the airbag light went off and stayed off…so far.

check very minor oil leak… it was drain plug
check very occasional coolant smell… water pump not leaking, can do pressure check of system if smell continues.

was doing a u-turn at a dirt road on little park road, and wheel went into a hole that i could not see and hit edge of pavement and popped. fortunately i had 2 tires in the shed. one with lotsa tred from 2017 and one with tread that matched almost exactly from 2015. took it over to discount tire during covid-19 apocalypse/cleaning frenzy and was the only person there. they mounted and balanced the tire for a total of $30and i was on my way.
